Who we are

This website is operated by Alex Farrell, trading as Panel Reach - a UK lead generation service for MCS-accredited solar installers. I am the data controller responsible for the personal data collected through this site. For anything relating to this policy or your data, contact alexfarrell@panelreach.com or call 07944 246799.

What data we collect

When you contact us or book a call, we collect what you provide, which may include:

• Your name
• Your email address and phone number
• Your company name and service area
• Anything you include in your message

If you book a call through our booking link, Google Calendar collects the details you enter there under Google’s own privacy policy. We also collect limited technical data automatically (IP address, browser type) through our hosting provider’s standard server logs, used to keep the site secure and working.

How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare for a call you book
• To assess whether your service area is available under our one-installer-per-area model
• To provide our service to you if you become a client, including reporting on calls we generate
• To keep records required for invoicing, tax and legal purposes

Our legal basis

We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent (given when you submit the contact form) and our legitimate interest in responding to potential clients. If you become a client, we process your data to perform our contract with you and to meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers that make the site and our service work:

• Vercel - website hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics
• Resend - delivers contact form submissions to our inbox by email
• Google - Calendar for bookings, and (with your consent) Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads measurement cookies as described below

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to measure how visitors find and use the site, including Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement, which set cookies. A consent management tool giving you granular control over these is currently being added; in the meantime you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Vercel’s analytics are cookieless and collect no personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from last contact, so we can pick the conversation back up if your area becomes available. Client records are kept for 6 years after the end of our engagement, as required for tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your enquiry data sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Have your data deleted where we no longer need it
• Object to or restrict our processing
• Withdraw consent at any time
